"It's all About Time!"

A lot of people I talk to are too busy to cook these days. Whether they're too busy with work or kids, or simply don't like to cook, the fact is that there's just not enough time in the day to do everything! But what's the alternative? Eating out gets old and expensive quickly and most personal chefs would have you in hock before you know it with dinners for 2 priced at around $30 per couple! Fast food has become more bland and unpalatable with each passing year.

Here's where I think I've found a nook. Most people don't necessarily need each and every part of a meal cooked for them in a complete package. I can do that, but I've found that a lot of people would basically just like a head start! For instance if I make you a giant lasagna, you could warm up some bread, toss a salad quickly, and dust off that bottle of Chianti on the shelf couldn't you? Or I could prepare a marinated, rotisserie turkey breast, and a spinach quiche then all you need is maybe some stove top stuffing, a couple cans of gravy, and cranberry sauce and you're all set!.

So here's a list of items I've come up with so far (they'll be plenty more to come!).  Certain items I will suggest side dishes for that I find to be excellent accompaniments for that particular dish. Please feel free to call or e-mail me for references. Right now I am cooking for 4 clients either once or twice per month. The food I bring them is usually enough for about a week, for a couple and include reheating/freezing instructions. Your needs may be different. Please call for more info on cooking arrangements!
