"fine dining in your own home"

What could be
better than going out to a fine restaurant and dining on sumptuous cuisine with good
friends? Doing it in the comfort of your own home, of course! Here's a chance to set a
lavish table (or tables), and show off your fancy china, stemware, silver service, linens,
etc.
No matter what your entertainment budget, you can have a dinner with family, friends, or
business associates like you never thought possible! From a simple buffet with fine down
home cooking for a family reunion, to a lavish six course gourmet wine-tasting dinner!
It's all possible, and it's all up to you, plus you'll probably end up spending less than
if you went to that fancy French restaurant twenty miles away!

What do you get? (And how much?)
Here's a general guideline:
A dinner party usually consists of between six and twenty-five or more people, depending
primarily on the size of your location. For smaller, romantic dinners for two or four, see
potpourri.
The dinner can be as simple or elaborate as you like. Most dinner parties are a five
course affair. Appetizers are first, and are usually served butler style, with drinks, as
guests are arriving. It usually lasts about an hour.
When seated, guests start with soup, followed by salad, the main course, and dessert.
Wines and other beverages are usually provided by the host. The appetizer (or
"social") hour can be host served, or we can provide a bartender for $16 an hr.
We will pour wine and other beverages while you and your guests are seated. (We will also
be happy to consult with you about your wine selections!)
All dinnerware, stemware, platters, linens, decorations, etc. are usually provided by the
host. I provide the food, garnish's, service, clean up, and any special tools I need in
the kitchen. I can, however, provide any additional items you may need.
Bear in mind that any party is whatever you want it to be. You may just need an assistant
to help you prepare your foods, your way, and then serve and clean up for you, while you
enjoy your guests! This charge is $16 an hr. for one helper, and $12 hr. for each
additional helper.

My following menu prices are based on the procurement, preparation, and delivery of foods.
All courses are served with restaurant style and presentation. Don't be fooled with prices
in the following examples, they are only a guideline. Dinner for 2 starts at $125 + food
costs (usually around $40 or so). Dinner for 8 is usually around $225 + food costs, etc.
Maximum dinner party right now is around 20 people which would be around $400 + food cost.
Beverage service is up to client. All clients need to provide their own alcohol. Pouring
of wine is included in dinner service. Bartenders are additional.
